Any ideas?

If you've read my post from this morning you will know that we are about to go for a week without the TV.  I need some ideas of activities to do inside and out with my 3 year old daughter.  We go to the park when the weather is nice like this morning.  It was a lot of fun but I don't want to spend all day at the park in order to avoid the television.

Here are the ideas that I have:

Color
Practice ABC's
Read books
Indoor hopscotch

That isn't a very big list.  So I'm asking you.  What do you do with your kids indoors and out?  Please help me come up with some ideas.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. It's my pleasure to be here and follow you back.

I admire you for taking a week without TV. My kids are on summer break right now, so I have been very lenient with screen time. Next week that is going to change. I anticipate much unhappiness.

This week try: playdoh or playing with pie crust dough, building with toothpicks and gumdrops, fill a small bucket with water and experiment with floating and sinking.

I don't have kids but I babysit a lot. I love to bake with them.

I just found you through the Follow Me Back Tuesday blog hop! Can't wait to read more. Have a great week.

You could try the shaving cream on the kitchen table (no, not your table, it is too pretty, try the counters) and she could work on her ABC's.

Thanks Valarie...I have thought about that but keep forgetting about it. I'll add it to my list.
