Welcome to my blog. My name is Lacie. I have a wonderful family. My husband and I are from Idaho and love it there. We have three beautifully daughters and one handsome son. Our oldest daughter was born in Idaho and our younger two were born in Oklahoma. Our son was born in Illinois where we currently live. We move around a lot. Every time a project ends we are sent to a new projects.
I love several things besides my family. I love the outdoors, anything outdoors. I grew up hiking, hunting, camping, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, and riding horses . I love to read as well.
The other thing I have grown to love is sewing. I first started sewing quilos as a young women. I loved it. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Russia from 2004-2006 and when I returned I bought a sewing machine. I went to school at BYU-Idaho and took as many sewing classes as I could before my husband graduated and the job took us away from Idaho.
I opened my Etsy store IdahoAtHeart in October 2010 and then started this blog mainly to promote my store but it has become more than that. It has become a way to help family and friends know what is going on in my life as well as share my sewing adventures with everyone.
